Cyclone offers the latest weather imagery for North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia, providing forecasts, tracks, and projected paths for hurricanes, typhoons, and cyclones, as well as other important information on tropical storms.

With Cyclone, users can access real-time, detailed images on zoomable maps, not only for rain and snow but also for tornadoes and hail. The data is sourced from the NOAA-NASA GOES and EUMETSAT satellites.

Utilizing data from the Storm Prediction Center and Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System (SPC & GDAC), Cyclone offers comprehensive information on tropical storms and hurricanes worldwide. This includes details on affected areas, coordinates, wind speed, storm tracks, and path projections.

Moreover, the app allows users to check the weather for their favorite locations using interactive maps. The map displays live international weather conditions, local weather and time, ten-day forecasts, and sunrise/sunset times for multiple places. Users can also add placemarks to represent their favorite places or desired destinations. This feature provides a convenient overview of the time and weather conditions for all saved locations.

Cyclone utilizes geostationary satellites that remain fixed above a specific point on Earth to capture its satellite images. Lighter areas of cloud indicate cooler cloud tops and reveal weather features such as fronts and shower clouds.
